I sought out Paul's services for help with depression and anxiety. In addition to acupuncture, Paul used a variety of techniques such as Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), Neurolink, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and diet modifications to address the root causes, physical and emotional, of my symptoms. Rather than just treating the issues that are easily identifiable, Paul treats "the whole person." It was fascinating to learn how toxicity or imbalance in a seemingly unrelated area (such as the liver or pancreas) could cause or contribute to fluctuations in my mood and energy level. Paul's treatments provide a wonderful alternative or complement to mental health treatments and approaches available through practitioners of western medicine.

Help with Depression and Anxiety

Paul was convinced he could help me with stress and smoking cessation, but I was simply too uncomfortable with the idea of someone sticking needles in me. Paul was very understanding and patient, and in fact offered alternatives to start. He used color-puncture and oil treatments both of which are completely non invasive and a great way to get treated while becoming comfortable with a new treatment and practictioner. Further, both (particularly the oils) were effective to boot! Paul waited for me to state I was 'ready', and even then we started with just basic treatments using an increasing number of needles as my comfort level improved. I have had several treatments to date. I love his bedside manner and found his treatments to be both effective and relaxing. I highly recommend Paul Gerst and New England Natural Health Services.

Relaxation, stress, smoking cessation

I saw Paul because I had hypertension and was feeling lousy and had cloudy thinking. By following the dietary recommendations I noticed that within a few weeks my thoughts were clearer and I started to feel more vibrant and I dropped 45 pounds. As a result of care from Paul, I was able to drop one of my meds for hypertension. Most importantly have become aware of how food choices affect my health and well-being. As a professional dog trainer I am prone to back pain due to handling the dogs. I was recommended to Paul Gerst of New England Natural Health Services for treatment. I had never sought out alternative forms of medicine and wasn?t sure what to expect. However, traditional approaches were not helping. Because I have a fear of needles Paul instead performed an acupressure treatment with oils. I certainly felt some relief immediately after the treatment. However, by the next day my back pain was significantly better. With continued application of the oils, in a few days I was actually pain free. I had also complained to Paul about my insomnia. At a follow up visit he treated me (again with oils) for the insomnia. I felt like I could have fallen asleep right then and there! Paul is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Digestive Problems, Low Energy and Depression

I started to see Paul because I knew that I had abused my body with fast food, processed pre-packaged meals and a high level of stress. No matter what I did, I gained weight. I had been to a doctor because I was just not feeling well overall- I was tired, I had no energy and I felt nauseous after eating. My blood test showed I had a high level of inflammation and yet the source could not be identified. I had a bad experience with acupuncture in the past so Paul suggested we work with Neurolink and Color Puncture. I also started a detox program for 28 days. I immediately started to feel better and started to lose weight. Losing weight suddenly became less of a priority when I realized how great I felt. I started to sleep through the night; I had more energy and felt more focused. Through some simple testing at a grocery store with Paul, I found out that I am sensitive to yeast and dairy. I have lost a total of 45 pounds and feel so much better.
